Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes what information Snoozify (the "App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Snoozify is published by Rethvick (the "Developer", "we", "us", or "our").

By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

We do not collect any personal information you provide. The App does not have user accounts, sign-in, profile fields, or contact forms.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Anonymous usage analytics (via PostHog). When you use the App we record events such as "opened the app", "played a mix", "saved a mix", "tapped the paywall", and similar interactions. These events are tied to a randomly generated device identifier that is local to your device. The identifier is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or any other personal information. We use this data only to understand which features are used and to find bugs.

Subscription status (via RevenueCat). If you start a free trial or subscribe, our payment infrastructure provider RevenueCat receives the fact that the purchase happened, the product purchased, and an anonymous identifier. This is necessary so we can confirm your subscription is active across reinstalls and across multiple devices signed in with your Apple ID.

Crash and performance data (via Xcode and Apple). If the App crashes and you have opted in to share diagnostics with Apple, a crash report may be sent to Apple and forwarded to us. These reports contain technical information about the crash, not personal information.

1.3 Information we do NOT collect

• Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
• Your location (we do not request GPS or location services).
• Your contacts, calendar, photos, or microphone.
• Your Apple Music listening history, library contents, or playlists. The Apple Music integration uses Apple's MusicKit framework; all music data stays on your device and on Apple's servers.
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA). We do not show ads and we do not track you across other apps.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the limited information described above to:

• Operate the core features of the App, including playing audio, restoring purchases, and synchronizing your subscription status.
• Understand how the App is used so we can fix bugs and improve features.
• Validate that purchases and refunds are correctly reflected.

3. Third Party Services

Snoozify uses the following third party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Apple Inc. (MusicKit, App Store, iCloud). Apple's Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat, Inc. (subscription management). RevenueCat's Privacy Policy
• PostHog Inc. (anonymous product analytics). PostHog's Privacy Policy

None of these services receive your name or email from us, because we do not collect that information.

4. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics events are retained for as long as is useful for product improvement, typically 12 months. Subscription records are retained for as long as required by Apple's App Store agreements and applicable tax law.

5. Your Choices

• Opt out of analytics. Reinstalling the App generates a new anonymous device identifier, severing any link between past and future events. You may also delete and not reinstall the App at any time.
• Cancel a subscription. Cancel at any time from iOS Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions. Refer to the Terms of Service for refund terms.
• Request information deletion. Because we do not collect personal information, there is little to delete. If you want your anonymous device identifier purged from our analytics and subscription provider, email us at the address below and include the date of your last App usage.

6. Children

Snoozify is intended for users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. International Users

The App may be used outside the United States. Information collected may be processed in the United States or in jurisdictions where our third party providers operate. By using the App you consent to this processing.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
